The token snapshot and the new GANA token swap completed successfully based on block height 9745192. This post covers how to register and use new GANA tokens.

All GANA holders should check the GANA token registration guide below. The GANA team is not responsible for the loss of tokens caused by personal negligence or without reference to the guide.

The result of new GANA token distribution

Summary

• The contract address of GANA token is changed as below

• The old tokens are no longer used, and have no value. Please use the newly registered token for transfer.

• GANA tokens held on the exchange has been automatically swapped for new GANA tokens.
• Deposits / withdrawals will be resumed within a few business days. Please refer to “The new GANA token registration guide for private wallet holders” below when withdrawing to your private wallet.

GANA Holders of Jetfinex Exchange.

• GANA tokens held on the exchange has been automatically swapped for new GANA tokens.
• The Jetfinex exchange closes on March 31st. Please check the Jetfinex notice and make sure to withdraw all GANA tokens before exchange closing.
• When applying for withdrawal, we recommend you to use your private wallet(Ledger Nano S, MEW, Metamask, etc.).
• The deposit to other services(Digifinex, Bitberry, etc.) may have been inactivated or deposit address may have been changed. Please contact each service for details.
• Please refer to “The new GANA token registration guide for private wallet holders” below when withdrawing to your private wallet.

GANA Holders of Bitberry wallet

• The GANA tokens held in Bitberry have been automatically swapped for new GANA tokens.
• Please refer to “The new GANA token registration guide for private wallet holders” below when withdrawing to your private wallet.

• The new GANA tokens are transferred to your private wallet that has old tokens.

1. In the MEW(https://www.myetherwallet.com/), tap the [Access My Wallet] to access the private wallet that the new tokens are transferred to.

Registration example

Why use ‘GANA2’ symbol?

• As the re-registration of GANA token default information is in progress in MEW, ‘GANA2’ is used to distinguish the old token from the new token.
• The temporal symbol ‘GANA2’ will be changed back to ‘GANA’ after the new token information is re-registered.
• The ‘GANA2’ symbol has no effect on the deposit / withdrawal of supported exchanges and services.
