Editor’s note: it’s been over a year since we started this website and yet it seems we never got around to explaining who we are and what we’re trying to do. Better late than never, right?

You probably already know that Korea dominates pretty much every significant Esport. And that Esports players are treated like stars, with their own fan clubs and doted upon by dozens of smitten fangirls.

But did you know Korea has something called a “Cinderella law”, an Orwellian system that monitors the gaming of minors and automatically shuts off their games at 10pm?

Or that there are over 3500 registered game companies in Korea? And a flourishing, if not impoverished, indie game dev scene — and that one of these indie studios, Tino Devs, was actually founded by the son of the current Korean president!

Or that a member of current President Moon’s administration is a famous cosplayer?

Jun Byung Hun, politician by day, cosplayer also by day

The point is that the Korean game scene is a bright and vibrant one, but also grossly underrepresented. And we want to change that.
