This year’s G-star Expo was the biggest ever with over 210,000 people attending the show. A total of 650 companies and over 2700 booths from over 35 countries were involved with a few hundred games on display at the show. From these games, Gangnam Gamers has selected our favorite games from the show, based on their potential for success in a western market and how impressed we were from the game. Check out our awesome wrap up video below:

Peria Chronicles

Earlier this month, we had a look at Peria Chronicles, the upcoming cell-shaded MMORPG that combines elements of Pokemon, Hearthstone and World of Warcraft. The game also features city building, environment editing and being able to design and offer quests to players around you. Check out our review of the game here.

2. Lineage 2: Revolution

Netmarble announced its new mobile MMORPG based on the Lineage IP. The game has been developed using the Unreal Engine 4 and features 1500 vs 1500 PvP siege warfare and a classic RPG system with 4 classes and other features. The game has been released in Korea and the English global version is due to be released early next year.

3. Tree of Savior: Mobile

Tree of Savior is a free-to-play MMORPG released globally in April this year. However, the game has been struggling finding and keeping its players, plagued with bugs, bots and gameplay issues. The mobile remake of this game was announced at G-Star with a gameplay demo available, and players of the demo all gave good feedback. Check out our preview here:

4. Dynasty Warriors Unleashed

Dynasty Warriors Unleashed was revealed at G-Star this year, surprising everyone with its announcement. The game consists of typical Dynasty Warriors gameplay brought to the mobile environment. The game will also include PvP modes and will have over 40 Generals available for purchase when the game is released. See more gameplay in the playthrough video below from ThisisGame.

5. Hyper Universe

Currently in Open Beta Testing, Hyper Universe is a platform MOBA with interesting characters from multiple universes. The game is soon to be released with a number of offers available for free in-game characters. GangnamGamers have a gameplay video coming through soon, so subscribe to our youtube channel for more information!
