Spring is the season of change.

In the Garden, we welcome change because if things are changing it means we are growing. Like any gardener, we planned for this. We’ve put up the trellises and we measure the growth of the vine every day, taking notes and making adjustments along the way, preparing for what’s next, and celebrating the progress, no matter how large or small.

I think it’s the quality of our conversations and the ideas, perspectives, and experiences we share that make change a welcomed part of our work here. Change is what we are all here for ~ something different.

You’ll find in this week's newsletter, there are a lot of ways to change up your schedule by joining a live event. From poetry to art, and even breathing, the Garden is giving you a chance to meet new people and try new things.

For A Change ☘️

The search for a new Poet Laureate continues!

The position of the Garden of Neuro Poet Laureate was created to honor the woman who steps into this space, bringing her passion for poetry to the Garden. With the support of the Garden, the Poet Laureate has the unique opportunity to share her wisdom, and continue growing a thriving community around the love and beauty of this timeless art form.

Circle news

The Garden has created a new space called “Networking Cafe.” You can find it in the “I Am New to the Garden” collection. It has a contribution request of $5.00 per month. This is a donation to the Garden that you can consider as support for all the work we do here. While no one is paid today to run the Garden — yes, we are all volunteers! — this space serves many purposes. It serves to help us pay for technology. It also serves as a space where members can go and instantly connect on any level, with anything they choose. We maintain Garden ethical rules in the space. We will hold it as a place for shame-free promotion of any sort. You can go there to lead, host, or promote, and how you use the space is entirely up to the space’s membership.

ALL GARDEN WOMEN are invited to share their writings, stories, and poems in the Garden’s publication on Medium.com. You can find current versions of book reviews, announcements, and Garden newsletters there to catch up on anything you may have missed, or if you are just looking for your next muse.

A Breath of Love by Rebecca A. Barrett on Medium
