Greenhouse Happenings In My Little Homestead in a Mobile Home Park

I opened up my greenhouse this weekend

More frequent nice days are on the horizon, so I am taking advantage of it. I have quite a bit to do in my yard and garden.

I started working on my vegetable garden on Thursday, putting seeds on a damp paper towel and putting them in a plastic bag to force-start them.

Several brown envelopes with hand-written labels for different varieties of tomatoes and peppers are displayed on a wooden surface. One envelope has a photo of cherry tomatoes affixed to it, indicating the type of seeds inside.

I’ve had success starting seeds this way. I just need to open them up every few days and spritz in some more water to keep them moist. I currently have them on my food dehydrator in a warm spot in my kitchen.
