Holly Blue Butterfly
Yesterday I saw my first Holly Blue Butterfly of the year, in fact I saw two.
The outside of the wings are pale blue spotted black as here, but the inside is a gorgeous electric blue. The trouble is, as soon as they settle to rest they close their wings, so it’s really difficult to capture the awesome colour.
