Welcome back. There’s nothing like looking through seed catalogs in January. Well, if you’re a gardener, you get it. As the snow swirls in the cold winds outside, it’s a good time to dream of the upcoming gardening season. It warms the soul.

Last week I wrote about how I was starting to plan for the 2025 garden. It’s a process, the first step of which was to sort through what seeds I had. I then discarded seeds more than a year old and decided what to order.

I Decided to Order From Pinetree Garden Seeds Again This Year

This is the third consecutive year I have ordered from this company. Why? I have discovered that they offer an excellent selection of vegetable (and flower) seeds at good prices. A good number of their seed packets are under $3. I have had excellent results with germination as well. They are a small family-owned company based in New Gloucester, Maine.
