As you all know, Halloween is here, and we couldn’t leave you without any spooky ideas! What’s better than a holiday to have a thematic game night with your friends and family?

For that, we invoke the forces of our holy trinity of games: Gartic.io, Stopots, and Gartic Phone.

But, of course, we’re going to mix it up and give you some tips to play according to the night’s theme:

1- Gartic.io

Gartic.io is our trivia game based on drawing and guessing. In each round, one player draws a word from a specific theme for others to figure out. But did you know that we already have a Halloween theme?

You can create a room using it and invite everyone to join you:

Or, even more unique, you can log in with one of the social media available and create your own Halloween theme if you want to choose the words that will be used!

2. StopotS

Stopots is a categories game. Select at least 12 categories, and the game spins the wheel to choose a letter. Then, the players answer the categories with words beginning with the selected letter. If you finish before the time runs out, you can stop the round! (you can check the full explanation here.)

On this particular day, try creating a match using only Halloween categories and exercise your spooky knowledge:

  • Villain name
  • Scary movie
  • Halloween treat
  • Potion ingredient
  • Every frightening movie has…
  • Creepy Halloween costume
  • Things to carve on a pumpkin
  • Horror games
  • Halloween tricks
  • If ETs are real, what would they be doing?
  • Spooky Literature
  • Things people are afraid of

3. Gartic Phone

Gartic Phone works similarly to “ Telephone game ”; we have a lot of modes and custom settings, so we have a few suggestions for you to play it in the Halloween mood:

  • Frankendrawing: Use the co-op mode to create a monster with your friends. Each of you will contribute a part — the initial player sketches the body, the next one designs the head, the third player draws the upper limbs, the fourth member does the lower limbs, and the fifth player adds the details. (You can find the custom settings for five players here.)
  • Story Mode (creepy version): The usual story mode, but it’s always scary! On each round, one person adds another sentence to the story, and in the end, you’ll have the perfect tale to tell at a Halloween sleepover.

Those are our suggestions so you can enjoy your Halloween night with our games! Let us know if you played or thought about other ways to play it!

You can find new friends at our Discord server to play with you, and we wish you the spookiest season ever!
