Hello everyone, shall we have a little chat? 😊

> phil:
Hey fellow alchemists 🙂

> Wit*:
Right from the start please allow me to announce in advance that next week we will NOT have a Community Hour, but the week after. The reason is: there is simply too much going on 😊

Now, top priority as of now is still minting. After that we focus full steam on AT launch as a “casual P2E” on Callisto.

We have advanced very well with minting. Roman has said last week that the smart contracts and backend is ready. We work on the UI features and had great progress. The current idea is to make some basic minting feature available somewhere next week. Please be aware that it may be a bit buggy at first. We have also prioritized the sub-features of minting a little. When we say “minting” there is a lot of functionality behind. Some of it will be finished after/in-parallel-of the first basic minting release. Some of such functionality is, for example:

1. burning NFTs right from the MV UI

2. locking the collection (so no more NFTs can be minted in a particular collection that you have created)

3. other usability features like: mint more NFTs of a particular item (e.g. you have minted a digital art image and would like to mint 10x more NFTs of this item) — we would like to offer a simple UI way to “mint more”.
4. etc.

As as I said: the functionality for all this is already finished on smart contracts and backend, the current work is focused on the UI (and the most complicated part usually) and usability

The multichain approach has made the solution slightly more demanding as it was first envisioned, but it will be unique. Minor things like, for example, see all NFTs of a particular collection REGARDLESS of where (which chain) each of these NFTs is currently located. These things take time, but are great/unique abilities of the multichain character of Minted Vodka. So it takes time to do things right. We will make it worth the waiting, though

I can also disclose a few more details. For example: when you open a new NFT collection, actually a particular NFT is already minted for you which is the “collection key”. It gives you ownership over this collection (ability to mint things and modify).

Later, when you are ready and want to “lock” the collection (so that no more NFTs can be created there), you will be able to “burn” this NFT (collection key) directly from the UI.

When you minted a collection of, let’s say, 100 items, the owners will be able to move it around the currently supported EVM chains (and also the ones yet to be supported in the future).

Peter:
👍

We will have a view, where you will still be able to see all the items of this collection and see, for example, or this item is on Callisto, this ones are on BNB Chain, this one has been bridged to Polygone, etc.

> trisdivi:
what will be fees for moving around evm chains?

> Wit*:
right now it will only depend on the network fees. From our part it will be free at first. This may change in the future.

So if you move around across chains with low transaction fees, your cost will be minimal

Our own approach to fees right now is: offer unique top-quality services for free to attract new users.

Except non-premium trading, everything else will be free for now.

(game minting, layered minting, etc. all envisioned features that differentiate our offer from others)

trisdivi:
how we will know if NFT is from legit creator and not some copy/paste?

> Wit*:
Well this is a hard one. Each collection will have a unique key/name. The original creator must then share it with his/her audience (e.g. on twitter profile, web page, etc.)

just like you share a contract address to make sure a coin is legit

Apart from this, we can whitelist some collections that we personally know as trusted on the UI

Peter:
This is one thing that I do find frustrating with many NFT collections, many creators don’t seem to realise how important it is to share their collection address to ensure that they aren’t counterfeit…we should certainly promote this!

Wit:
yes indeed. However, what also happens sometimes is that copyrighted images are stolen and minted without the knowledge of the original author.

Something like this: https://screenrant.com/dc-comics-art-stolen-nfts/

Peter

Yes — also this. I discourage stealing of art. Anyone minting should do so honestly, and we can/will blacklist any stolen art on MV if we are made aware of it.

Wit*

But in that case the user should still stick to the OFFICIAL information directly from legit sources of the artist

> Wit*:
always wait for the artist communicate the NFT collection on the official website and/or social accounts.

> trisdivi:
maybe its like obligate field before mint to add twitter acc?

> Wit*:
we would be bound to “twitter” and force creators to be on twitter. We will see how it goes and if further measures are necessary from our part.

> trisdivi:
yes true

> Peter:
But then everyone would need a twitter account, and we’d need some way to police that the Twitter account is actually owned by that person…there is no “easy” solution to this.

> trisdivi:
yea pain, so as always DYOR before ape

Wit:
we can warn users and encourage them to DYOR as much as possible

Peter

Yes — but when creators don’t share their collection address, DYOR is difficult…so if you know any creators, please ask them to share their collection address publicly! :)

> trisdivi:
ok, as i understand Alchemy Toys on Callisto will go live after minting will be fully ready..

probably around end of summer

> Wit*:
we try to parallelize the things as much as possible. There have been challenges with dev resources, but we are on a good path I think.

Right now I wouldn’t want to make promises about certain deadlines. However, I would aim for a much earlier launch than “end of summer”. In any case not earlier than July.

> trisdivi:
i’m not big fun to buy NFTs, so i will wait for AT on callisto

> Wit*:
Still, we are now much more careful when promising things. Simply because there is also still not a final list of “updates” to be included in the AT version to be released

we are still working on the final concept of how AT and its NFTs shall be structured, the development of these updates is in very early stages.

We are going for “the minimum viable option” there, though. One where we can launch with minimal effort, crusial updates and still have a certain flexibility to release more features and updates in the near future (without blocking ourselves too much with the first version). So it’s about finding a balance.

SO in any case: our focus regarding AT launch on Callisto is: as early as possible (with reasonable upgrades)!

> trisdivi:
Yea, better not to rush and make all things right

> Wit*:
well, “right”, but not perfect. “perfect is the enemy of good”, as a good friend said yesterday 😉

so we want to move ahead and get things done, without blocking our capacity to improve.

get people playing and receive feedback ASAP

So there is a lot of work on the development side. We are motivated and optimistic and move ahead full steam!

> trisdivi:
lets hope NFTs market and crypto market will go full steam too

Wit:
well, of course it will. This tech will not go away anymore. We have been through many bears since 2016.

> trisdivi:
yea, i joined only late 2017

> Wit*:
On this note there is another announcement: GAT Network will send a representative to NFT.NYC in late June! NFT.NYC is the largest and leading NFT Conference in the world.

We will meet some partners, get introductions, grow our network and perhaps meet the most important people world-wide in the industry.

> Wit*:
In any case, we say that we want to shape the future of NFTs with what we are doing. GAT Network has the potential to offer great innovation to the world with unique products/services. And this is what we will do.

> trisdivi:
Nice!

> Peter:
Oh, and to reassure anyone who is concerned…as one of the (maybe the absolute) biggest holders of AT gaming TOYs currently (acquired through gameplay) — I will not personally be using my own TOY collection to play the game on the new network to take any kind of advantage. I may occasionally use them for testing purposes, but not to secure a win in the new game.

> trisdivi:
why not?

> Wit*:
I think there have been voices in the past weeks asking for transparency etc. and worrying (needlessly) about our team’s “advantages” in the P2E of the relaunched AT.

> Peter:
Some people have already voiced concerns that we’ll take an advantage for personal profit from our own holdings…and I own quite a ridiculous amount of TOYs (from before I joined the team). I can understand it’s a valid concern, so I’d like to address it now.

> trisdivi:
ahh cmon

> Wit*:
Rest assured that our team does not have much time to play anyway… Only for testing purposes 😔😅

> Peter:
I’m not saying I won’t ever leverage the TOYs in any other way, if I decide to sell them etc at some point, but I will not take an advantage with them in the game. :)

> trisdivi:
you bought/minted them just like every one else

> Peter:
True — but I can live with it… :)

trisdivi:

it was fun ride at beginning

Wit*
I personally think Pete should play, if he wants to

trisdivi

i started to sacrifice some toys pretty late, and not like daily so hype was gone when i had only 1 sacrifice left13:39

Wit*

Maybe we will have new whales on Callisto in the near future. With more TOYs than Pete has.

Peter

Heh — maybe…with other TOYs won from the new game…I’m talking about my somewhat excessive personal collection I already have. :)

trisdivi

how much you have?
i think i have around 600toys left

> Peter:
I have several multiples of that… ;)

> trisdivi:
ok, go and sacrifice them on callisto

> Peter:
😂

> trisdivi:
so i will do it around week 100

Peter

I’m really looking forward to the new game though…it’s going to be cool — and so refreshing with the low fees etc.

> Wit*:
I am also looking forward to it. I will still mint and play casually I think. Not necessarily for the game pot, but to build a collection of TOYs. I have not sacrificed any TOY on BNB Chain.

Low fees will make it much more enjoyable.
like 100x more enjoyable 😅

> wrydais:
Looking forward to it.😊

> Peter:
New TOYs are always good TOYs. :)

> Wit*:
I have many TOYs on BNB too, but unfortunately in the low levels (however many low serials). Would like to have a full collection now on Callisto.

> Peter:
I’ll never give up my hat though! 😊

> Wit*:
that’s a gem indeed

> Peter:
The first TOY in the AT collection. :)

> Wit*:
So yes, June will be an exciting month for us. Intense in a way, but exciting! 😊🔥🚀

> Wit*:
Are there more questions that you want to ask or feedback you would like to give? Please feel free to share here, even after the Community Hour. We do our best to follow the chat and answer.
And please, again, keep in mind that next week there is no Community Hour. We will have the next one in two weeks. Maybe we can talk about minting then and receive feedback from the community 😉

Wit*

ok, guys, I have a podcast to prepare (more on this later)

It has been a pleasure chatting with you again! Have a great week and talk to you soon!

thank you for joining our Community Hour!
