Community AMA #16 / July 8

Hello everyone, shall we have a little chat? 😊
> Peter:
👋
> Wit*:
The market is still red and difficult, hope you all are holding on. We use the time to build our product and our network.
As you may know, we have participated in the NFT.NYC event and built new connections there. Maybe Pete can tell more about it.
Apart from that we have finally released the minting feature for public testing 🥳🙌🏻
Peter:
I have already shared a bit of info from there, I spoke to a number of people from different projects of all kinds, including creators, gaming projects, and other potential useful contacts that we may need for the future (such as KYC providers). I also spoke to some representatives of different chains that we can evaluate and open dissuasion’s with.
It was an exciting event, but long non-stop days of bouncing from one discussion to another, and very little time for anything else
Wit:
Thank you for representing us there, Pete
I know how tiresome such events can be

Feel free to play around 😊
In the meantime we move on to improve MV. We will re-launch the bridge functionality soon to make the bridge more robust.
Most of all the bridge will become free — so only network gas fees will be paid by the user. We will inverse the control and give the power completely to the user. There will be a “SEND” button on one chain and a “RECEIVE” button on the other chain. You will be able to follow the process transparently and execute the bridging on your terms.
For us it is a way to make the bridge completely free on the platform side — MV would not collect any fees there.
Peter:
This will be so much cleaner and transparent. Bridging is usually a nerve wracking experience via other tools!
> Wit*:
Yes, talking about fees: it is our aim to make MV and all its current (and upcoming) features FREE. So the user would only pay gas fees of the chain, MV will not collect any fees for now. We will change it in the future, but for now it is important to attract users and creators.
We will announce this pricing policy soon, when all the changes are in place
Peter:
This will hopefully be a hot announcement…who doesn’t like free fees?! :)
> Wit*:
We’ll try to make it as BIG as possible 😜
Feel free to ask questions (now or later) — we would love to answer. In general the web3 seems to be in a small “ice age” right now — everything is slow. Announcements may not find the same audience as 6 months ago. We use the time to build, build, build. 🦾
Roman
hi everyone. I see that Pete and Wit have all the points covered. I am currently working on the new, more robust and lean bridge. This will take a week or so.
> Daniel:
Maybe stay feelees as long as possible to build a community
There seems to be a bug while trying to create a collection. And the only error message doesn’t help at all. Discord bug channel
> Roman:
The new, lean bridge will allow us to (1) be completely feeless in that regard and (2) be more secure against attacks that the crypto-world witnessed lately.
> Roman:
Regarding the collection bug — let me check this today. 👍
> Peter:
Thanks!

The improvement of MV cost us too much time. Hope everything is worth it.
Wit:
Well MV has some important features in the pipeline that are not found anywhere else (mystery boxes, game minting, layered minting, etc.). This is our best shot at attracting attention & users to the ecosystem. Furthermore we continue our work on AT relaunch and see how that goes.
In any case now is not the most optimal time to launch anything on the market. Thus, it is better to build as much as possible and release when the market turns into another direction
Well, thank you guys for joining in. Don’t hesitate to post your questions or feedback here (especially related to minting). See you soon!
Lorenzo:
I’m sorry everyone. Lately I’ve been having some trouble keeping up with all the changes. As far as I understand now, we will stick to GATE as a coin and will AlchemyToys and arena run on Callisto? is GAT then created on this chain or does it work differently?
> Peter:
GATe is bridged across networks, so the supply is a single supply and if you bridge it across to Callisto (for example) then that part of the supply is available there and not available on BNB chain until you bridge it back.
You can bridge GATe to any of the supported chains via MV.
GAT should be changed to GATe if you want to bridge it.
> Lorenzo:
Thanks! So GAT will also stay on BNB chain? But you bridge it to other chains.
And minting will be done on Callisto chain?
Peter:
Minting is available on all supported chains. (Except ETH which will be added after testing is complete as it is by far the most expensive network to push contracts onto).
Lorenzo:
Nobody wants to mint on ETH
But thanks for your answers

“In any case now is not the most optimal time to launch anything on the market. “Why?
i saw this statement from others multiple times in different groups. There could be never best time. but ok it is as it is.
