We continue to use the bear market cycle to build. Currently relaunching our NFT bridge. Then we will continue work on further topics.
Maybe Roman can say something about that.
Roman:
Was down with covid for 2 weeks. The work on the new bridge progresses again now. So I hope we can replace the old bridge pretty soon
Wit*:
The bridge will make the operations more stable and secure and allow us to set all the platform fees to zero. The official announcement about that will be published soon. We aim to attract as many users as possible.
We will also relaunch the bulk deals (and mystery boxes) to allow creation of deals that use the network token (not just the GATe). We think that will help us with MV traction as well.
There are a few other things that we focus on in regards of traction for MV. Just to give you a few examples:
1. next week we will have a Shopping Spree (sponsored by Telos) on Minted Vodka. We want to support promising NFT artists/projects and together with Telos spend up to $5,000USD equivalent in tokens for NFTs on MV. 2. We are working towards onboarding and promoting MV for the upcoming Shimmer Network (by IOTA) launch (probably next month). Our aim is to become the central place-to-be for everything NFT there right from the start. We have great connections in the community and the team there and also a few announced partnerships.

This can be a game changer

we are going to release a series of video tutorials about how to buy, sell or mint NFTs on MV as a build up to the event and for new users to better understand how things work here. The first video should go live end of this week/early next week
i am especially excited about going live on shimmer
Wit:
We are also in talks with several other chains. In general due to summer holidays and the market conditions, everything moves very slow these days. While it is certainly quiet, it gives our small team the resources to focus on building (and less talking

what are the first reactions to minting? Have there already been artists who have shown serious interest?
Wit:
We are in talks with several NFT creators — also with major ones on IOTA, for example. In general we are trying to engage with the NFT creators community as much as possible. Among other things this happens on the official MV Twitter account: https://twitter.com/MintedVodka (where all followers are organic and we expect most of them to be NFT creators)
In further news: the team has had a meeting last week to align our strategy for costs & operations in the bear market. We want to make sure we are still going strong when the next bull cycle starts and have unbeatable technology/features on the table as well as a good traction

is there a plan to attract small games to mv? these are usually happy when they have a nft marketplace
Wit:
yes, we are constantly getting connected to promising projects. If you hear of any NFT based games, make sure to send them our way!
This is regarding all ecosystems. In general I must admit that we are very optimistic regarding Shimmer EVM — that’s where most of our networking effort is happening behind the scenes these days

are you still in contact with binance labs?

sure, we have a “direct line” with Binance Labs and BNB Chain

Health is the most important thing. Any news regarding the alchemy swap?

last question from me, unfortunately it has become very quiet around game ace, is there anything new about this?

There is a new almost finished game for Game Ace. But here again — we are currently playing with the idea of launching it on Shimmer Network (use the promotional push there). The GA cartridges are freely bridgeable to all supported networks.

Game Ace is here to stay
It is also a proof-of-concept for future Game Minting (or Software Minting in general). We’ll see if a particular chain wants to position itself in this area, which could lead to a more specific collaboration.

Another point to note about the Shopping Spree with Telos, is that they have just finished a campaign to promote NFTs on their platform, so the Shopping Spree is a great way for all those creators from that previous campaign to interact.

well, the fees are going to be very low. The official communication right now is “zero”:

This opens a whole new world of possibilities for fully on-chain apps. “Feeless NFTs” etc.
And there is a huge community of IOTA behind it.
The question is if they can make it sustainable and if the network can keep up with the transactions.
However, one must say that the engineers at IOTA are not newbies in this regard. They have been around since 2015–16 and know the trade of “feeless transactions”.

Not right now, no. We are watching our liquidity and costs, like the rest of the industry.
