If you didn’t had the time to follow GAT Network’s activities closely, here is a retrospective for the last month:

Dixel.Club on Minted Vodka

Meet Dixel Club — the first-ever draw-to-earn pixel NFT platform.

One of the most important aspects that creates a good NFT ecosystem is whether there is a fully-functioning, cross-chain compatible, and most importantly, permissionless NFT marketplace.

Now Dixel Art NFTs can be traded at Minted Vodka!

The collaboration between Dixel Club (by the Mint Club team) and Minted Vodka (by the GAT Network team) covers the following areas:

  1. Support the environment to create deals of Dixel Art NFTs on the marketplace.

2. List Dixel Club on the featured BSC section.

3. Support the cross-marketing activities between each other channels.

Migration to Minted Vodka v2 finished without any problems

What changed?

Clean, extensible interface

The UI and API have been completely re-designed to support the upcoming features, especially the multi-chain character of the platform and the new services that MintedVodka will provide (such as custom cocktails, staking, a whole set of different cross-chain minting modalities, cross-chain trades, etc).

Multi-chain support

MintedVodka is not bound to any specific chain any more. Initially it supported Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum and Polygon chains. Recently Callisto and Telos have already been added, and new chains will be introduced within the coming weeks and months.

NFT wallet

The new MintedVodka is actively tracking all NFT transfers across all the supported chains. This way, users will have a nice overview of all their non-fungible and semi-fungible assets across those network.

Bulk deals

Now any user can create their own bulk deals and mystery boxes, selling their assets sequentially or in a random order and with different pricing modalities (fixed price or incremental after each sale).

User-friendly bridge

To allow asset migration across the networks as easy and as transparent as possible, we have improved and simplified the new bridge interface.

Now, any asset in your wallet that can be bridged will have a button to move it to another chain in a matter of 2 clicks.

There is also a comprehensible bridge log that shows all completed and pending transfer requests for each connected user.

What is missing?

Old deals

The old deals have not been migrated. The new Marketplace is non-escrow (your assets stay in your wallet until the deal is accepted by someone), which is a completely different system and not so easy to migrate.

Cocktails

The cocktails (staking) have not been migrated, yet. As we are working on new staking system (where users will be able to create their own “cocktails”) it does not make sense porting the old one. The legacy cocktails will not be used in the future.

Other languages

The new MintedVodka has multilingual support. However, no other language apart of English has been introduced, yet. The reason is that the new UI features are changing and expanding at a very high pace. This would require almost daily changes to the translations. To minimise the unnecessary workload, we decided to postpone the translations until the UI is in a more stable state. This will happen not sooner than the planned minting features.

What should you do?

Generally, no action is required from your part.

If you own a deal on the old MintedVodka, you may want to close it and create a new one on the new platform. The old deals will not appear in the search on the new platform.

If you still have GAT staked on one of the cocktails, you can still unstake them at any time by accessing the old cocktails through the legacy URL.

V2 is a non-escrow marketplace❣️

🤓It means the assets stay in your wallet until your deal is accepted.

This means LOWER TRANSACTION FEES and HIGHER SECURITY for the users🥳🥳🥳

Lastly, if you see any issues with the UI or have any questions regarding the new marketplace, feel free to join our Discord. We are happy to help!

Community AMAs

To stay in close contact with our community we conduct community AMAs at our Telegram channel on a regular basis where you can ask all the questions that you have.

If you missed the last AMAs please find the recaps here:

Lunar New Year

On 1st February we celebrated the Lunar New Year with our Asian community!

On this occasion we minted a Special Toy and gifted this to the community in several giveaways.

Some GATiger NFTs are still available at the Toy Oven https://alchemyarena.com/oven or at Minted Vodka https://minted.vodka/

Look out for special serial numbers :)

Collaboration with Wombat Exchange

Further we celebrated the Lunar New Year with our friends from Wombat Exchange. This cooperation was very successful and brought a lot of new members to our community.

We are going to collaborate more with Wombat in the future!

In other news:

Funding

One important topic at the moment is funding.

We are financed for this year and at least a part of the next year. So we keep building no matter what. Furthermore, we are currently in early talks with institutional investors to have a fundraising round — to secure additional funds for a longer runway, and also to invest in growth (especially more developers and upgrading the business side — mostly marketing). These talks take a lot of our time and resources at the moment.

Nevertheless, it is not an easy time to fundraise due to the market situation lately and also due to major events like the war in Ukraine.

A lot of uncertainty and VCs might hesitate a bit more than usual.

Anyway, our network has grown dramatically since the incubation — we are also in talks with many potential partners. This takes time, too since everyone is busy and can’t be very responsive all the time. But we are getting there.

Marketing

Marketing is a topic we explore every day. We are aware of the importance but it’s very difficult.

And it’s not even just a question of money since we are ready to invest in an efficient marketing. But we have tried different approaches in the last months and neither professional marketing agencies nor banner or shillers have been successful. We have to invest our funds responsibly and therefore make sure that money spent on marketing pays out.
We met founders of other projects in the last months and can exchanged our experiences. Most founders we spoke to have made the same experiences as we did and also struggle to have a more efficient marketing.

Of course, we receive marketing offers every day from “influencers” and YouTubers. But to judge their service one must take a closer look. Many YouTube and Telegram channels have no real audience. This is easy to recognise for TG channels. But also when you take a closer look at some YT channels you can see that the followers are fake or not active anymore. Even the number of views can be faked nowadays.
Basically, there is 2 types of channels: Fake channels who try to scam projects or legit influencers. The fake channels are a waste of money and the channels are very hard to reach or don’t answer requests.

What has proven to be the best way so far is cross marketing and partnerships. An important area we are working on — but this takes time.

In case someone can suggest legit channels or influencers please let us know — ideally together with a way to contact them. We will surely talk to them and try to find a cooperation.

Apart from that we keep building our network to explore efficient ways for marketing.

Outlook

The next milestone on our technical roadmap is minting. We plan to launch NFT minting on Minted Vodka in March.

This will add very important functionality to the marketplace and allow us to approach creators and new users.

In this context we hired a social media manager for our Minted Vodka Twitter, who is going to engage with NFT creators and raise attention for Minted Vodka.
