GATA DAO Christmas Update

Since we are already halfway through December and rapidly approaching Christmas, we will have a look at what gifts Santa Clause has in store for the GATA community this holiday season. ;)

Crew3 November Sprint

We are really amazed by how many of you are regularly participating in the Crew3 quests. It’s really inspiring to see all your contributions and helping us spread the word about GATA.

A huge thank you for all your support because without you we wouldn’t be where we are today. And your contributions haven’t been unnoticed and like the month before we are planning to reward the top contributors.

Since the end of November’s sprint two weeks ago, there has been one question we have continuously received: What are the rewards for last month’s crew3 sprint?

Well, the time has finally come to reveal it to you! Are you ready?

Users who finished within the top 20 of November’s Crew3 sprint (1.11. — 30.11.) will receive the following prizes:

• Position 1: GATA-V
• Position 2–3: Mooned
• Position 4–5: Pump/bear
• Position 6–10: Neat/elemental
• Position 11–20:50 $Tori each

We really hope you like your prize and will make sure that you receive them before Christmas.

If you are in the top 20, we will need your Teritori address in order to send you your well-deserved reward. To do so, please head over to discord and look for the #crew3-winner-section, which will only be visible to those of you who made it into the top 20. There you will find a link to a form, which you will have to fill out before the 24th of December to claim your reward. So, please make sure to submit it as soon as the form is available.

A Christmas present for GATA-C holders

Maybe you still remember the mint of Voyager Cats (GATA-v) last summer, do you?

If you have paid close attention, you might have noticed that we haven’t distributed the mint revenue share to holders of Colonial Cats (GATA-c) so far. A quick reminder: 9% of the total mint proceeds from each GATA collection will be distributed among all holders of GATA collections that got released before the new one.

Therefore, this time each Colonial Cat (GATA-c) will receive approximately 90 $STARS and the distribution will take place right around Christmas.

In order to identify all the holder’s addresses, we will take an announced(!) snapshot in the near future. So make sure to hold on to your GATA-c.

Winners of the #tweetYourGATA campaign

Back in the days of the Voyager Cats mint, we launched a Twitter campaign (#tweetYourGATA), where 5 lucky winners received 3,000 $STARS each.

In order to take part, you had to:

• Post a tweet with the following hashtags: #MintYourGATA #888VoyagerCats
• Tag @GataDaoZone @ColonialCatsNFT in that tweet
• attach your GATA
• and post the link to the tweet

So far, we have distributed 12,000 out of 15,000 $STARS to 4 winners.

But this year Santa has even more for the GATA community

Since it is the season of giving and we love to reward our GATA family, we’ve decided that we will be selecting 3 random winners from our last Twitter campaign (#tweetYourGorilla) and will be giving a Yield Gorilla (rank: Elemental/Neat) to each of them.

We hope that we were able to surprise you and want to thank you all very much for all the support and active participation in the DAO and across all our channels throughout this year.
