GATA DAO Distributes GATA Epoch-7 Rewards to Eligible GATA Holders
GATA DAO has distributed GATA Epoch 7 rewards to eligible GATA NFT holders. The DAO distributed a total of approximately 195 $ATOM, which was distributed among 1627 GATA in circulation, with each cat earning 0.12 $ATOM.
Eligible GATA holders for the GATA Epoch 7 rewards were 986 Colonial cats (GATAc) and 641 Voyager cats (GATAv). The rewards were sent directly to the corresponding Cosmos address linked to the holder’s GATA-holding Stargaze address.
The revenue sources for the GATA Epoch 7 rewards included contributions from various validators and partnerships. EVMOS validator contributed 51 $ATOM, Juno validator contributed 13 $ATOM, Rebus validator contributed 6 $ATOM, Teritori validator contributed 45 $ATOM, Osmos validator contributed 7 $Atom, GATA DAO Treasury contributed 64 $Atom, and Stars Royalties + 0base.vc partnership contributed 8 $ATOM, bringing the total revenue from these sources to approximately 195 $ATOM.
During the reward period, the self-bond assets of the DAO validators also increased. The Evmos validator’s self-bond assets increased from 7310 to 10000, Juno’s self-bond assets increased from 821 to 1500, Nomic’s self-bond assets increased from 3110 to 3737, Atom’s self-bond assets increased from 272 to 1492, and Osmo’s self-bond assets increased from 264 to 2000.
In addition to the GATA Epoch 7 rewards, the DAO also reported that Yield Gorilla earned 400.1 Atom from staking Atom and TORI during the period. The DAO staked 95% of these earnings, which amounted to 380 $ATOM, while the remaining 5%, or 20 $ATOM, was used to buy and burn the YG floor. Details here
