New Gatecoin platform is now live!

HONG KONG — 19 September 2018 — Gatecoin is proud to announce the launch of our redesigned website.

The Gatecoin team has been working for the past months to improve our infrastructure and upgrade our website to create a platform which features seamless and intuitive trading experience for our traders.

Express onboarding

New registrants who wish to trade crypto-to-crypto without the fiat gateway will not be required to submit KYC documents when opening the account. The only action needed to begin crypto-to-crypto trading will be the verification of the user’s email.

The changes will allow users to trade immediately, which we expect will be critical to users wanting to trade on first releases of projects such as Tezos quickly; XTZ/BTC

Account holders will be able to transfer-in unlimited BTC and ETH. However, users who wish to withdraw any cryptocurrencies will be required to upgrade their account as part of the process. For more information, please see our FAQs for full procedures.

It’s important to note as a licensed Money Services Operator regulated by the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department, Gatecoin is committed to the highest standards of anti-money laundering (AML) compliance. The new verification requirements will only be possible for new crypto-to-crypto traders, users who wish to transfer fiat will still be required to provide KYC documents.
