What is Talao?
Research has shown that in 2017, more than 100 million+ people worked as a freelancer. It is clear that the talent on-demand market has seen tremendous growth over the past several years. Established freelancing platform such as Upwork can take up to 20% commision from talents, and this has sprouted the birth of Talao. Talao is the first international DAO dedicated to providing freelancers with access to panels of companies in need for their specific expertise. The objective of the Talao community will be able to certify and verify the resume and professional reputation of individual talents. With this information stored in a reputation vault on the blockchain, talent’s data will no longer be forgeable, creating a trustworthy pool of talent for companies can choose.
Talao aims to develop a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that will tap into the $50 billion market for on-demand work. Talao will charge 0% commission for their services from both freelancers and clients. It is expected help talents to increase their revenue by 10–20% relative to the traditional model. Companies of all size will be able to choose their candidate from a list of skills-certified talent, ensuring the talent can deliver the best results at minimal cost.
What are Talao (TALAO) Tokens?
TALAO is the native token of the Talao ecosystem. TALAO will use as the payment to access the marketplace services and manage a personal blockchain. How to Participate
As a Gatecoin customer, you will receive access to the token presale and benefit from a 33% token bonus over the general public price (meaning that you will get 33% more tokens for the same amount of ETH sent). The minimum participation amount for this token sale is 0.5 ETH. Participation will be taken into account on a first come first serve basis.
Important: The 33% Bonus tokens will be locked for 3 months after the end of the public presale!
**Please note that US nationals and US residents will not be accepted as contributors.**
1) Login to your Gatecoin account, then go to our token pre-sale section.
2) Make sure you have ETH funds in your account, as this will be the only currency accepted for this first token presale facilitated on Gatecoin.
3) After checking the details and accepting the terms and conditions, you will be able to commit your ETH balance to Talao pre-sale. Make sure you do so before Thursday, 31 May 8:00 HKT (UTC + 8).
Once pledged, your ETH contribution will be sent to the project along with other users’ contributions. The Talao team will take into account your participation and distribute TALAO tokens once the public token sale is over. Gatecoin will then credit your balance with TALAO tokens and release TALAO/ETH and TALAO/BTC for trading. The estimated time frame for token distribution in June, unless the hard cap is reached sooner.
