One of the biggest trend smart watch company missed was aesthetics of watch. To most of people complex watch with square dials seems unnatural.

For men’s watch has been a status symbol :- it’s mostly sturdy, with typical features like precision, leather stripes.

Right target segment for general purpose watches are people who read economic times, read business magazines. Every-time i open a business magazine, it’s full of expensive watches.

Do you care about design?

Having colorful stripes with square dials doesn't go well with style statement of high paying target segment of watch market. This target segment is very particular about clothing and three color rule while dressing. How would such a watch fit in for them?

Moto 360 took a step towards fixing this a while back.
