Hey Everyone! This week, we’re talking about what you’ve all been thinking about — notifications. We want your fans to know that they’re being seen — and if they’re going to be seen, we want them to be seen in style.
First, we added sound. We’ve heard your feedback, and we added the ability to control the volume. We’ve also added the ability to change the time frame of the leaderboard on your streams. If you weren’t happy with the leaderboard resetting after every stream, head to your streaming tab and set it to represent whatever slot of time that you’d like! Also, you’ll be able to test your plugins onstream with our handy “test” button by the end of the week!
So, what’s next?
We need to know exactly what you want, so that we can build it. What do you look for in your notifications? Do you want them to be big or small? Green? Red? All that. Tell us here:
Streamer Spotlight: LBYS_HS
Every now and then, we come across a user that uses GawkBox to it’s fullest potential and unlocks some amazing numbers. This week, meet LBYS_HS.
LBYS is a competitive Hearthstone player with an active and supportive community, both on his channels and in his Discord channel. He’s harnessed the power of GawkBox to allow his community to help him stream more often. Most amazingly, he’s been able to motivate his followers to boost his earnings above what some larger streamers are earning.
“ Across all platforms I have almost 10,000 followers with 3,500 on Twitch. If I had to give a number I’d say I now make around $50 a stream, which is a lot more than before.”
