No More Anonymous Tips!
You heard me right!
Have you been seeing the occasional tip come through as anonymous, or, more recently, “GawkBox Fan”? Well no more — we’ve now made having a fan account more important than ever by strongly urging fans to create an account before they start tipping! This should reduce the amount of anonymous and missed tips significantly, starting today. Excellent.
Moving onward, our update of the OBS plugin is live and kicking, and we’ve seen a *significant* decrease in 502/503 errors, which means most of you are actively using the updated version! If you’ve yet to update your OBS plugin URL in the Streaming tab of your profile, make sure you do it before your next stream! We’ll be removing support for the old URLs by the end of this week.
This week’s podcast is focused on a multi-talented actor/streamer by the name of Mythematic. Listen as I giggle like a kid while he does perfect impressions of video game characters, it’s great.
