Fixing the 502 Error// PayPal Tipping

You and your fans may have noticed a rare error appearing in your streams from time to time: The 502: Bad Gateway Error. For those who haven’t seen it, it’s a technical hiccup that appears instead of your tip feed. We’ve seen a few instances of it, and decided to do a system-wide update to rectify this (and other streaming/OBS) issues. Keep an eye out for that change this weekend, and be sure to change your OBS plugin code this weekend. Your old one will still work for a bit, but not forever!
Have your fans run out of donations recently? Not only are we working towards adding more sponsored tip options each and every week, but we’ve added Real Money Tipping with PayPal in this last week.
Not only are we now able to process real money tips as well as sponsored tips, but we’ve decided not to take a percentage off the top for ourselves. That’s right — 100% of fan donations (besides PayPal and transaction fees, of course) go directly to you. Cool, huh?
