Your parents may not get it, your teachers sure don’t get it, and even your less-than-trendy friends don’t get it. You play video games, throw fidget spinners, talk about your life, pull pranks and do challenges, and that’s your job. You’re a content creator.

The argument is always the same: “Why should content creators get paid just to goof off?”. Of course, it’s much more than that. The hours writing, editing, connecting, creating…It’s a lifestyle dedicated to one thing — making fans happy. Before we get into it, the newest episode of the official GawkBox Podcast with Clayton Filpo.

As the future key entertainers of the world, you’ll need to get paid, right? That’s what we’re here for. We’re working rain or shine (but mostly rain) to create the perfect system in which creators, fans, and advertisers can live in perfect harmony. Here’s what we’ve done this week.

  • Updated Payment System — We’re fully updated with our new payment system. Enter all of your info in the settings tab of your profile to get started.
  • New Apps and Offers — We’re back at it again; this time with more than a suitable handful of apps such as Food Street, Wish Shopping, Guild Quest, Dungeons and Dragons: Never Winter, and Star Trek online! See something that your fans are gonna love? Let ’em know!
  • Social Media Action! — Let’s face it: If we’re going to work with this many content creators, we’re gonna need to speak their language. As such, we’ll be pouring a bit more time into our social media accounts in the next few weeks. Tweet at us at @mygawkbox and follow the subreddit here. We’d be happy to shout you out, or have a conversation!
  • Podcast — We’ve done it again. Short of a few audio/technical potholes, we’ve got a shiny and fresh new plethora of information from Ex-Marine, current social media/content genius. Clayton Filpo. Listen Above.

We’ll keep it brief this week, I’m sure you’re all busy. One more thing before I go — We need your feedback! support@gawkbox.com is the way to do it usually, but for you? Zak@gawkbox.com is okay too.

Got any ideas for apps and advertisers to add to GawkBox? What’re your fans into? Let us know that, too!

Keep it real,

-Zak From GawkBox
