What Fuels and Misguides the Conservative Fire

Duck Dynasty is quite possible the worst show on television for more than one reason. Not only is the occupation-based reality show template missing any sort of artistic value whatsoever, but it encourages the worship of a God, an idea created by men, as something greater than a man, and in this encouragement, promotes the traditional family “values” that poison minds.

As you can tell, I’ve never been a big fan of the show, but my opinion of it reached an all new low when one of it’s stars actually connected laws in favor of gay marriage to the deaths of 160,000 American citizens. After reading about this ridiculous rebellion against all forms of rationality, I came to a conclusion. Why do gun-toting rednecks blame those without guns for shootings? Why do stupidly rich assholes blame those IN poverty FOR poverty? Why does Duck Dynasty guy (who doesn’t deserve a name) blame guys being able to marry each other for murders?

The answer is: gun-toting rednecks HAVE guns. Stupidly rich assholes AREN’T in poverty. Duck Dynasty guy ISN’T gay (well, he might be, but he doesn’t know it if he is). So they don’t have to deal with these problems. For example, if people who own modified assault rifles acknowledged that being able to buy and modify assault rifles is part of the problem, they would be in a position to help. But helping is too much work. So they’d rather completely illogically blame everyone else, and give them the work. Why else would rich fucks constantly say it’s a homeless person’s fault he isn’t as rich as rich fucks? If it’s not, then it’s the rich fucks’ fault for voting for flat taxes in a wealth-disparate country.

Trust me, if anyone can find a better and less depressing answer to these age-old questions, I would be glad to hear it, but, and maybe it’s my liberal bias, I just don’t see any other possibilities right now.
