E-Government Hackathon with Kwara State Government
GDG Ilorin initiated the year with an E-Government Hackathon in collaboration with the Kwara State Government, focusing on innovating tech solutions for public services.
Flutter Forward Extended Ilorin
Following the hackathon, GDG Ilorin hosted Flutter Forward Extended Ilorin, a dynamic workshop on Flutter technology.

GDG Ilorin extended support to @i4GUNILORIN for their hangout, strengthening connections with emerging tech enthusiasts.
Also, supported @DiaryOfHackers in their inaugural cybersecurity meetup in Kwara, promoting knowledge sharing and community building in cybersecurity.
Google IO Extended Ilorin 2023
Mid-year, GDG Ilorin hosted Google IO Extended Ilorin 2023 with over 100+ attendees.
Featured Speakers: Mayowa Bello, Shola Japheth, Yusuf Nasir Ahmad, Taofeeqah Bello, Shakirudeen Abdulazeez, Daniel Olabemiwo, Imam Bashir Abdulwahab.
Discussions included topics like New Web Technologies, Google Play and App Monetization, Cyber Security, AI, and Ethical Decision-Making.
