Hackathons, Study Jams, Tech Fests, Tech-Meetups, and many more are primarily community-driven and founded by a bunch of tech geeks that form a community.
For all the passionate geeks, Google Developers Group Nagpur (GDG Nagpur) has constantly been there to enable them to build their network and foster new skills by bringing up many events and meetups.
The community is led by a group of technophiles, with a motto of “by the devs, for the devs and to the devs!!” having a shared code of conduct by Google to procure a harassment-free and extensive event adventure for everyone and treat them with respect.
GDG Nagpur was inaugurated and started in 2019, and right from the outset, it is continuously helping developers around the globe to prosper in their careers by upskilling their existing abilities. Inspecting the civil intent, the community has attained a crossroads of achieving 25+ Meetups that starred varied technology, and the rest is you better know how the community folks are good at bringing in the discussion even more fascinating.
Due to the pandemic, keeping company with and communicating with people in-person came to be confronting, and nevertheless, we proceeded with commencing many such Meetups online and maintaining real-time conversations on platforms like Slack.
Product Design 101 Meetup Series
Design is the extensively critical aspect and toils as a primacy for a product. This meetup was steered by a 4 episode meetup series, it shows 4 iconic Product Designers, UI/UX Designers, and Interaction Designers from leading startups and companies like Zomato, CleverTap, GojekTech, etc. who talked about and shared their adventures of how they understand the end-user consumer and an individual for whom the product is being formulated.

DevFest India 2020
When it gets to DevFest, how could GDG Nagpur stroll back! As the charm of this event comes from the organizers and our valued tech speakers, who endorsed the event. Carrying the event online exclusively needs extra effort to make the event a more imperial one. GDG in collaboration with WTM Nagpur contributed with 800+ participants throughout the Nagpur region in DevFest India on 16th — 19th November 2020 held virtually through Live Stream.

Through all those hard times of pandemic, GDG Nagpur resumed activating events to encourage the developers and learners to bestow their proficiency by designating a project on any of the given tracks. Yes!, we are addressing Central-India’s biggest Community-driven Hackathon
hacknagpur. the very first of its kind initiative by GDG Nagpur, in collaboration with 16 local communities and a platform to unleash visionary developers worldwide and succeed together virtually to ideate, innovate and inspire one another and the community. The Hackathon proved to be a big feat and no doubt, this has aided the pandemic-afflicted tech enthusiasts to showcase their mastery, no matter from whichever corner they belong to. In those 5 days, there were an incredible series of sessions by many recognized speakers like Gaurav Sen, Khushboo Verma, Vrijraj Singh and many more, who conveyed their talk on several domains.

In drawing things to a conclusion, Meetups like Payment architecture on a cloud platform, Google Hash Code, Scaling Tech-enabled business aboard, and Build actions on Google Dialog flow stimulated novices to excavate the substantial mechanism of customarily used applications.
