A few days to go before DevFest Cebu 2019, the biggest Google Tech Conference in the Philippines, on November 16, 2019, at the Golden Peak Hotel & Suites, Cebu City.

GDG DevFests are large community-run events that provide the opportunity for tech-savvy individuals to learn about the latest technologies and other developer products.

International and local experts will discuss different topics such as machine learning, automated testing, the internet of things (IoT), mobile development and other technologies by Google.

The recently announced Developer Student Club (DSC) will also be introduced during the conference.

With the theme, #HumansOfDevFest: Share your GDG Cebu Story, participants are encouraged to share about their past GDG experiences and how GDG has helped them in their journey as developers.

Here are three (3) things you need to prepare for the event:

  1. Eventbrite ticket

Your ticket is your pass to enter the event. Your Eventbrite ticket was sent to your e-mail address. Don’t forget to print your ticket or save the pdf copy on your phone. You can also download the Eventbrite mobile app to view your ticket.

2. List of breakout sessions you want to join

The afternoon will be divided into different breakout sessions in different rooms. Seats will be limited per room so better prepare what sessions you would really like to join.

For the full schedule, visit devfest.gdgcebu.org.

3. A mind ready for a whole-day event of learning

Get ready to learn, inspire and have fun! Aside from our awesome speakers, you’ll meet a lot of fellow developers during the event, don’t miss the chance to get to know and learn from them.

Booths from our sponsors will also be available on the day. Make sure to visit and maybe you’ll get the chance to win prizes or have the opportunity to work with them. 😉

DevFest Cebu 2019 is powered by Google and brought to you by Google Developer Group (GDG) Cebu and Women TechMakers (WTM) Cebu and is sponsored by GitLab, TrustArc, PRWorks, Fullspeed Technologies, Lexmark, Fizzbuzz, Jetbrains, Accenture, Ambidextr, KitaMo, Newlogic, InqPop, and INQUIRER.net.
