Women TechMakers Cebu 2019

In commemoration of the International Women’s Month, Women TechMakers Cebu will hold its 6th WomenTechMakers event this coming March 9, 2019. The event purpose is to promote women empowerment in the world of technology, the whole day event is jam packed with a series of talks and sessions from 13 speakers in the field of STEM: Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics.
Topics to be discussed are: Women in Development, Women in Design, Women in Project Management, Women in Testing, Women in Community, Women in Startups and Women in Freelance development and Motherhood. Another anticipated session is the Google Cloud Study Jams in the afternoon.
WomenTechMakers Cebu promotes on women empowerment and showcasing amazing Cebuana speakers in their each of their respective fields in tech. Following the success of last year’s Women TechMakers Cebu 2018, this year’s WTM not only focuses on different topics in tech but also gives an avenue for hands on learning with Google Cloud Study Jams with workshops on qwiklabs. Participants who completed the workshop will receive badges and cool swags by the end of the event.

Other highlights of the event is the open forum and elevator pitch business matching. This is an open session that allows the audience ask questions about women in tech as well as give the floor for participants who want to share their company or work to the crowd.
