After 4 years of Programming, Here’s What I Learnt

I’m not a programmer by trade.

Not even a data scientist.

I’m simply some guy who took up Python for data science; then realised that being a programmer is too stressful.

I don’t have any projects on GitHub since my projects are garbage.

But, I do have an obsession with programming the trendiest things.

Here’s a short chronology of the projects I’ve undertaken with various programming languages, but mainly in Python.

As mentioned, I don’t keep repos on Github, so you’ll need to accept my experiences at face value.

1. Deploying Machine Learning Models using R (2018)

The language I learnt to program in was R. I was convinced that it will be the data science language of the future. Turns out I was wrong. It remains as Python as of April 2022.

My first project was to web scrape data from real estate websites and create a machine learning model out of the data.
