A while back, the team behind the famous Bored Ape Yacht Club non-fungible token (NFT) collection also launched their own ERC-20 token. ApeCoin (APE) was the name and immediately the token got a big load of attention. Even large Ethereum (ETH) investors, or whales, were interested. At the moment, ApeCoin even ranks third among the most popular coins among these whales.
