Similar to my last post, today we are going to cover yet another data analytics virtual internship program on Forage.

Forage is an online platform that provides free access to virtual internship programs that are co-designed and endorsed by reputable companies from around the world like Lyft, Citi, and the Boston Consulting Group.

Today, we are looking at the Data at ANZ program which unfortunately, at the time of writing, has been taken down from the website. However, you can still download the dataset from my GitHub repository and follow the tasks in this post to complete the exercise.

Background

ANZ is one of the big four banks in Australia.

This program is based on a synthesized transaction dataset containing three months’ worth of transactions for 100 hypothetical customers at the bank. It contains purchases, recurring transactions, and salary transactions.
