BMW Now Sells the World’s First Color-Changing Car: 2022 BMW iX Flow Technology
The car giant surprised the public with a car that changes color.
Do you like your car’s color? Mine is white, and I don’t mind it — that’s until it gets dirty and I have to wash it. My family has had black cars for most of my life, and it was so much better as black doesn’t show dirt as much. Sadly, since I bought my Ford C-Max off an auction at a 1/3 of the price, I didn’t have a choice. C-Max is a pretty rare car, plus they stopped manufacturing it, so being picky about color wasn’t an option. I could have painted my lovely baby, but that’s an unnecessary expense. So, I have a white-colored car.
But what if your car could change its color? That would be amazing, wouldn’t it? On a bright sunny day, it can be white. During snow and rain, it’s time to switch to black. What if it could also change color to something brighter, such as red, blue or yellow? I always feel cheery when I see a sunny yellow car or a unique teal-colored car. I almost consider forking out $2,000 to paint mine, but then I remembered that I don’t even have a mortgage yet, so spending all that money would be a waste.
