Have you ever wanted to try something in Windows, but you were afraid to break your main install of Windows? Want to experiment with Group Policy or see what that suspicious .exe file you just downloaded does? Maybe you’ve never used Windows before, and you want to know more about how the system works without erasing the Operating System you currently use, or perhaps you have some software that only runs on Windows, but you have a MacBook.

Setting up a virtual Windows machine is easy to do with the right software. In this article, we will use a program from Oracle called VirtualBox. If you would like to know more about VirtualBox and how to install it, check out my article below.

Where Can I Safely Find a Windows ISO File?

When downloading operating system ISO files, it’s always best to use legitimate websites. For all Microsoft operating systems, I go to the Microsoft website.
