Everyone is talking about the focus mode changes in iOS 16. Indeed Apple delivered a ton of changes to make managing different task states and scenarios easy.
The new focus filter, the ability to create wallpapers with focus modes, and its integration with the lock screen, there are all very very awesome.
I want to talk about a specific setting, in focus mode which has made a dramatic change in the way we can restrict information flow. Let’s get on with it.
Till now in the focus modes before iOS 16, the way to restrict notification from different applications and people calls was to select specific people or applications which would be allowed to send notifications. So the selection window looks something like this:
As you can see we had to manually choose applications and people from which or whom we want to get notified during a focus mode.
