How To Create A Website Design Using Midjourney
AI Generative Design In Action
There was a time in my past life when I designed websites, and while I don’t design websites anymore, I wanted to test if AI-generated design is a helpful resource for creating modern websites and apps.
One website I really enjoyed working on in the past was for a skateboard & cycling company, so I thought I would use ‘skateboarding’ as a proof-of-concept for this generative design experiment.
This was the original design that I worked on over ten years ago — definitely old-school and dated compared to today’s designs.
The requirements for this experiment are as follows:
Design a modern website & app for a skateboard company
- Brand colors are purple, blue, yellow, and gold
- Include a fresh new logo
- Simple and hip design — target audience is teens and early 20s.
I’m keeping it simple here by not including detailed app requirements like video tutorials, GPS tracking, social sharing, etc… This is more about the aesthetic of the web design.
