Sometime last year, noting that some applications such as Tableau, a dashboarding tool, does not enable its users the direct option to input Superscriptsˢᵘᵖᵉʳˢᶜʳⁱᵖᵗ or Subscriptsₛᵤᵦₛ𝒸ᵣᵢₚₜ, I created a browser tool as depicted in the following article for Tableau users:

However, recently as I attempted to format a post on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, I noted that options to bold its text does not even exists. As such, it led me to turn to the similar workaround I had used for softwares with similar limitations — i.e. leverage on the display of Unicode characters to substitute its default font.

Hence, in addition to Superscriptsˢᵘᵖᵉʳˢᶜʳⁱᵖᵗ &Subscriptsₛᵤᵦₛ𝒸ᵣᵢₚₜ, other formatted characters included into the latest tool are:

  • 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 — Type I
  • 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 — Type II
  • 𝘐𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴
  • 𝒞𝓊𝓇𝓈𝒾𝓋𝑒 𝒮𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉𝓈
