How to put a call on hold on an iPhone?

Did you know that you can put anyone to Hold on an iPhone? Yes, this works super easy and is very convenient at times. This article will guide you on how you can put anyone (or any number) on Hold and make another phone call. It’s super easy to it and is also very useful in many circumstances. We sometimes also use it to put a scam call on hold ;)

Here’s how you can do it.

1. Open the Dial Pad and call a number
To quickly demonstrate how this works, simply open your iPhone’s dial pad and call any number. We are calling an automated operator here, as in the image, you can see the call is activated (also indicated by the seconds).

2. Put the call on Hold
Now to put the call on Hold, simply press the MUTE button for a few seconds. The phone call will automatically be put to hold which will also be indicated.
