Humans vs AI by humans and for humans!

WHEN do we need Artificial Intelligence (AI) and WHY!!

Food for thought — humans should never be replaced by machines, this triggers how AI is evolving today. You may have heard about applications created with: OpenCV - this technology-based apps for the IoT devices to recognize images and graphics and GPT-3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformers) - of 3rd generation that uses Deep Learning technique to predict human-like text. It’s believed to be machine-generated codes are existing in some lab or marketplace, could replace human coders and programmers! So, what happens next in the near future? And it can code in CSS, JSX and Python - seems, it can also code in any programming language!

The thoughts to be considered for the design of AI software for crucial scenarios by the humans brain prior to its development and deployment!

What happens to humans jobs if AI technologies are implemented on these occasions?

Building & deploying AI applications/softwares are social responsibilities and their implications to be considered by both the organization/s and end-users, in this ever-growing populated world!! They should be implemented where the human interventions are challenging or tough.

AI technologies are required but not to the extent of replacing humans.

Few scenarios for implementation of AI techniques:

  • To detect if any drivers drunk and driving, crashes and incidents: if yes, vehicle sensors or SOS functionalities, should send driver’s GPRS location to the concerned department or officials who tackles such people and situations.
  • AI technologies should assist HUMANS workforce without replacing HUMANS and their jobs.

If AI technology reduces the requirements of humans, what happens to the present & future generations… there may be a raise in crime and unethical way of living!

Especially in highly populated countries, implementation of AI technologies are to be deeply understood along with its consequences for its deployment. AI technologies to provide safety & support when and only when humans support is challenging to get instantly and where human interventions are not safe.

However, AI should be a BOON and not a curse as it shouldn’t replace humans.

One of such example of AI applications, using OpenCV technology for IoT/mob devices for specially abled who requires visual assistance for recognizing real-life objects indoors or outdoors, that can be provided digitally through these AI apps for daily routines such as walking and help understand their surroundings independently.

These AI apps can be built for mobiles or other IoTs using gesture controls or voice controls that can be a boon bringing healthy and constructive changes in the community thus in the society.

Other scenarios of AI, are with Machine Learning or Deep Learning techniques to build and deploy prediction models for predicting house prices, car prices, stock market prices, temperature predictions and so on to help analyse and make decisions for the future by utilising the historical data.

To fix any bugs in the code or its trouble shooting, are the AI techniques creative and debugs automatically?

Coding or programming is one of the creative skills we have today, this model is exciting to see how machines perform human-like tasks & coding. However, they are alarming at the same time for humans to survive! So how important it’s when AI applications are developed…

AI technologies to be implemented for social and community’s welfare.

This model amazed me and my curiousity to explore more about this model raised:

  • Does it help to generate genuine code to solve SQL injection, XSS, CSRF and so on.
  • Can it help fix any downtimes or glitches automatically/dynamically.
  • Can it help the applications to scale up automatically, if it’s accessed by high number of end-users in the same time.
  • What is the learning curve or training time for this model when any new technology/language arises.
  • How long it takes to get trained to write bug-free and secure enough code!!
  • How different it’s from HUMAN coders and how these robot coders help to solve raising unemployment challenges!
  • Can it also read out the text to the specially abled to help them tackle day-to-day activities!

Can we create a contingency or back-up plans for production of oxygen to survive on Earth using AI technology?

To ensure humans don’t extinct!! It would be great to invent the technologies for the production of Oxygen like the way trees produces, if it makes sense to think in this line especially when we have been seeing cutting trees/plants which are the sources of Oxygen for humans to survive!

AI technologies opens the door to develop digital solutions for such crucial challenges…

If you too curious for what it can do, its use-cases and their implications, below are few articles. Ofcourse when we are in technology or if you are from STEM background or lovers of reading research papers and hungry for learning, feel free to read them!

Hope humans don’t get lazy day by day as we are living in the digital world!
