New Nintendo Switch OLED model will be Released October 8th for $350

Rumors have been out there that Nintendo has been working on a new switch with a OLED display. Today Nintendo made an announcement that these rumors are true. This new model will be available on October 8th with the price of $350.

This is not the “Switch Pro” People were wanting, But it does have some nice upgrades for the people who like to take their switch on the go.

There is not any word about if the battery is better or not, There’s not much else changed over the original Switch. Nintendo does says battery life on this new OLED Switch will be up to 9 hours, the same amount as the current Switch. This OLED Switch is slightly longer than the original and also slightly heavier at 0.71 pounds (0.32kg) versus the 0.66-pound (0.29kg) weight of the original Switch.

The New Switch offers some pretty cool new features and upgreades such as:

  • OLED Display
  • Bigger 7" Display
  • Built-in Ethernet Port
  • New White Dock with White controllers
  • New Wide, Adjustable stand
  • 64 GB Internal Storage
  • Enhanced Audio
