In 2020, a top market research firm confidently published “Worldwide Spending on Artificial Intelligence Is Expected to Double in Four Years, Reaching $110 Billion in 2024, According to New IDC Spending Guide.”

That’s an impressive 15x increase over less than a decade. After all, the AI market had only been $7 billion in 2015.

But that ambitious prediction isn’t what happened. Nope. AI spending did not double in four years.

Instead, it has been only two years and already AI spending for 2022 is on track to be almost nine times higher than it was in 2020.

Let me drive this point home one more time.

AI spending will be more than $430 billion for 2022.

Will the jaw-dropping pace of growth level off or continue to accelerate? What are the most extraordinary capabilities and the gravest risks associated with AI? Will AI create more jobs than it destroys? Most importantly, how can you prepare, adapt, and even capitalize on this massive trend?
