WordPress has grown to be the most popular CMS on the web, used by millions of people on a daily basis. In fact, its popularity is on the rise and shows no signs of slowing down, despite the fact that its license has recently changed. However, there are still some concerns about the future of the CMS.

Here are the reasons why WordPress may die in the future. Let’s take a look at some of the possible factors.

Gutenberg

Gutenberg has modernized the content editing experience. It’s already an official part of Wordpress. Unlike previous versions, Gutenberg is easily extendable. It gives flexibility to end users and is open source. It’s also free, easy to use, and extensible, which makes it very attractive for both developers and site owners. Unfortunately, there are few tutorials that deal with nesting, the ability to customize elements, and many other topics.

WordPress will continue to develop. The backlash against Gutenberg, while a legitimate change, is inevitable. While some people are upset at the idea of replacing the current editor with a different one, it’s important to note that Gutenberg is still an early version of WordPress. It’s likely to have more bugs in the near future, but it will be more stable than ever before. So, it’s definitely not going to be the end of the world.
