Accepting the status quo,
groveling before authority
in the face of horror
makes you a collaborateur
with the thickening
power of iniquity.
Conformity is cancer.
Better to be a guerrilla
in this land of liars.
You cannot lay down
the weapons of your heart
to malevolent masters.
Surrender is no option
as darkness deepens.
Tell small truths.
Sabotage sadism.
Ignore the facts.
Strike from the shadows.
Set some ambushes.
Insist upon yourself.
Smile, but resist.
Do not allow
the unthinkable
to become acceptable.
Live beneath the radar.
Snipe the enemy
wherever possible.
Take no prisoners.
Expect no mercy.
Uncivil war allows
no compromise.
Be a partisan of light.
Where free hearts gather
tyranny and injustice
are ever temporary.
Laugh in the face of night.
Freedom soon will come.
