Change your mindset.

Change starts from the mind, not from the mouth.

Do you remember that time when you strongly opposed chasing materialistic things like marks, money and beauty but you were using this to escape from embarrassment?

We feel embarrassed of not fitting into societal standards and thus makes such statements: These marks are not going to make sense and money will not be carried to our grave which every one thinks but not act so. These things have lost their meaning for what they’re once created.

It takes so much courage to ignore societal standards which sometimes gives us a clear failure on those ranks and then for an escape we start finding excuses by pointing these things as useless.

For changing our mindset we’ll have to change these thoughts too.

While looking at a dark face, if your mind calls it ugly. Don’t spontaneously make any comment. Scold your mind for doing so and don’t agree with others.

Stay silent and let the crowd speak what they want, it’s none of your business. While handling such issues what we do wrong is we try to take the responsibility of other’s words too which is nearly impossible to change.

When heard about someone’s marks, don’t give any comment and if your mind is eager to make a compliment or a disapproval, make a conversation in your head and remind yourself for not considering this any failure or success.

Instead of giving a lecture to someone on these topics, start making a change in your mindset. You will see a change. When your mindset will change, people will notice your views without your lecture.

“Once your mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it.” ―Steve Maraboli

We all know, even if we try so much to not to praise these things and give never ending lectures in social media and society but we end up thinking the same we did.

So change start from the mind not from the mouth. It’s all filled in the mind, so it needs to be removed from it only.

I have heard so many people around me speaking of racism and calling a dark person ugly. When the talk is about others, our principles go out for hangouting and when it comes to us they come back.

You know why it’s so necessary to ignore these standards because somewhere they’re stealing our happiness. Money, fame, marks and career these things are important but not to the level we praise them. We don’t get any happiness while having these things but what builds up is an obsession.

“Happiness depends on your mindset and attitude. Happiness is in your mind, not in the circumstance.”
Roy Bennett

We listen to all those racism lectures and thinks of treating everyone equal but the other day finds fairness cream our only remedy.

We preach children marks don’t make sense and it will not make any difference in our life but sets a standard for our children while looking at AIR ranker.

Unintentionally we all are doing these things in our daily routine. If we want our grandchildren to not to be on the burden of these things. We’ll have to make a change in our mindset and have to set a standard for others to follow with our actions.

Yes, I was the same but if I could make a difference at teenage, why you all youth and adults can’t?

Myth: Billionaire has something that we don’t have.
Reality: Our desires are always unfulfilled.

Myth: AIR 1 is far more intelligent than us.
Reality: Intelligence can’t be measured with these ranks.

Myth: Miss/Mr world/nation are far more beautiful than us.
Reality: Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Myth: You need to be no. 1 to be the best.
Reality: You are the only one so how can you compete and be no. 1.
