blink of an aperture,
semblance of simplicity,
frozen firmly forever,
sculpture of heart’s eye.
What is noticed matters,
makes itself more
in others’ imaginations,
remains to be seen.
Portal of possibility.
Chickens, rain, a wheelbarrow,
taken together touchstones.
The world’s skeleton
laid brilliantly bare
for the seeing to see.
