Embrace and Release

Darryl Willis
Aug 26, 2017 · 1 min read

I open my arms and you open yours;
we dance a dance to discover who
the host and guest are, only to find
each other standing face to face.
Thus we take care in our embrace
not to crush nor to consume;
to let each other to be the other.
Joy in difference and paradox:
standing close — one, but not.
