A Cat flops down by a door.
Simultaneously a Lion and
elsewhere a purring dragon.
Cool air ruffles his fur.
These stars continue to shine.
Nothing but everything changes.
Somewhere people are starving.
Every impossible thing happens.
Novas explode. Black holes suck.
Other worlds exist and interact.
Any imaginable reality is real.
Many things might happen, but don’t.
Many unseen others continue to.
We imagine ourselves safely singular,
but are only one thought among many.
A portal opens to multiple worlds.
A cat stretched upon a floor,
fur ruffled by possibilities,
flopped before that open door.
