I worked under Harvey Craig for 10 years at Mooresville Belle-Mina Elementary School. I learned of his death this morning. A fine gentleman. He taught me many valuable teaching concepts I was to use in my career. And he taught me how to control an unruly class. I miss him.

Dee Bauer was my editor when I worked at The News Courier. Boy we had us some fun. He used to call me the hawk. Not because I was a good reporter. I wasn’t very good. I think it was my nose hahaha! I sure hope Dee’s still here. And I hope he knows I’m thinking of him.
