Intellectual exertion, too much work.
So much easier to abandon thought.
Believe everything you’ve been taught.
Drink the passionate poison of ideology.
Accept limitation. Delude yourself free.
Become a spokesperson for sickly slogans.
Wave your fists, snarl and leap about.
Deliver your words in a powerful shout.
Join the titillating, terrible fray.
Let no reason stand in your way.
Be comfortable with your swallowed lies.
You put on the latest, ranting style.
The mob’s apparel fits you now.
Everything shallow feels good on you.
Chant the chant and sing the song.
Never consider you might be wrong.
