Just Words

There haven’t been any words for awhile
nothing of merit or import
Nothing to say for immortality — in denial
Seems like writing is a last resort.

Wrong, get it out, say the words
make them pretty or snitty
Could be flowers or turds
don’t bore everyone; attempt to be witty

Anyone can say anything these days
No matter truths or lies
It doesn’t matter anyways
24 hours of press then it dies.
