Insanity is a misguided insistence on meaning.
What respectably chaotic universe could care
at all for your insignificant explanations?
Sanity means learning to smile amidst chaos.
The alphabet of chaos is learned in extremis.
Once mastered, you can say anything you like.
Saying anything gives joy and makes you smile.
Be careful. Too much sanity threatens many.
Smile too much and you are carted to the madhouse.
There you are made to insist on meaning.
You will learn to frown and demand reasons why.
You will stop smiling, be released and return,
insane and grim, into meaningless chaos,
calm, reasonable, unsmiling and uneasy.
