I stole my perspective from the side mirror
mounted by the mechanic who traced two lines
of the biblical handbook penned by engineers
screw here, screw there
its reflections — not mine — kind on my neck
too stiff to turn for who’s rolling on my side
no time — I’m just speeding by, bye
I’m driving to the horizon
we’ll get there, eventually
Pick any point, take a peek, now memorise
it’s now yours, sew a flag, celebrate
the ruler tells me where to draw
it’s all straight lines from here to there
we’ll meet where they converge
the club at the vanishing point
