She wished to be a hero.

She always wished
she was braver,
stronger,
smarter.

She always wished,
she would go on an adventure,
fighting monsters,
unveiling mysteries,
not afraid of the enemy.

She used to read
about heroes,
who fought valiantly,
who didn’t yield to the enemies,
she always wished to be those heroes.

But all she fought,
was her own monsters,
during dark nights,
and the nightmares,
she fought through it all.

But all I did was survive she sighed.

She wished,
she was braver,
smarter,
stronger.

She wished for them,
without realizing,
she was already,
braver,
smarter and
stronger.

I just hope this will all be worth something in the end.
